Ocean Scout Center Console models include a spacious interior that provides a flat, wide open platform that can be easily customized to suit your needs. These models are very popular with commercial fishermen and sport fishing enthusiasts. This time proven design, with its deep forefoot, Carolina flair and relatively flat running surface aft provides a safe, well tracking hull able to get you out and back in comfort. The clean and simple design qualities of these boats make them easy to maintain and economical to purchase as well as operate in the years ahead. All our models come with flush, non-skid, self-bailing decks which enhance safe, easy movement within the boat.
 
 
Standard Construction Features:
 
  • Modified V-Hull design. Ocean Scout fishing boats are built with comfort and stability in mind. The deep forefoot, hard chines and relatively flat aft section provides a stable and efficient hull that tracks well while proving a soft, dry ride.
  • Hand-laid Solid Fiberglass. No coring is used in the hull sides or bottom.
  • Seamless, flanged hull to deck construction. These two major components are bonded then fiberglassed together to promote a more rigid structure, eliminating leaks and the dependency on mechanical fasteners.
  • Quality Gelcoat. We use only the best gelcoat to form the outer skin of each Ocean Scout model.
  • Self –Bailing Cockpits. All of our models feature flush, self bailing decks and are finished with a practical non-skid surface.
  • Foamed Hull. An extensive amount of foam is installed under the deck which provides flotation as well as sound deadening. A passive ventilation system reduces moisture build up.
